Christmas Caroling & Christmas Party
Saturday, December 7th 3-6pm
Join us for a caroling and a party with light dinner! We will meet at The Avalon in Bridgewater (565 NJ-28, Bridgewater, NJ) at 2:45pm in the lobby. Cherub and Lyric Choirs will sing at 3pm with some of their songs and then all families will sing a few familiar Christmas songs to the residents.
After caroling, join us at BUMC for a Christmas party and a light dinner (or if you can’t carol with us, come at 3:45pm to church). Please bring a side dish or dessert to share (BUMC will provide cheese pizza and bottled water). Older siblings are welcome!
Alternative Christmas Fair from UMF
Sunday, December 8th
Alternative Christmas Fair will resume this year on December 8th in Fellowship Hall following the service.
The groups participating this year include the following organizations: 1. Habitat for Humanity 2. A Second Chance for Animals Rescue. 3. Slides for Alternative Christmas UWFaith table and some Silent Auction items 4. Women’s Bean Project 5. The Nature Conservancy 6. Heifer Project 7. BUMC Youth Table for Mission Trip. These special, hand-made items will be offered up at the United Women in Faith’s table as Silent Auction items with minium bids:
Christmas Quilt = $100 minimum bid, Framed watercolor = $100 minimum bid,
Crocheted afghan = $100 minium bid, Decorative tray = $75 minimum bid,
Decorative birdhouse = $50 minimum bid.
All of these items will be on display in Fellowship Hall November 24th to December 8th.
Adult Adventure Group
Sunday, December 8th 2 p.m.
Adult Adventure Group will be playing Mahjong. We will meet at 2pm in the Fellowship Hall.
Music Sunday & Farewell Luncheon
Sunday, December 15th
Join us for a farewell lunch for Roni and Steve Sawin following the service on Music Sunday, December 15. Come celebrate the years and many contributions the Sawins have given to BUMC. Sign up online or outside the church office.
