Martin Luther King Youth Center

The Martin Luther King Youth Center (MLKYC) in Bridgewater, New Jersey serves the community by preparing and empowering future leaders. We do this by providing quality, affordable after-school enrichment and summer camp programs.  Our facility was originally opened as a recreational youth center in 1972. It served as a safe haven for diverse children in the neighborhood to keep them off the streets. Over time, the center expanded to include educational and summer camp programs on a sliding income scale. It was meant for children from low-income families, who would not be able to afford such services.
