Children & Families

Children and Families Ministry here at Bridgewater United Methodist Church is a great place for children and their families to come together in fellowship, service, and growth in faith. Children and Families Ministry aims to serve families with children ages Infant through 4th grade (older siblings are always welcome). We have many great events throughout the year including: pool parties, potlucks, age appropriate service projects, and play dates. You don’t have to be a member of the congregation to participate and our activities are a welcoming and relaxed place to try out a small group at the church. Come grow with us!

Summer 2018 Activities

All activities occur at church (651 Country Club Road, Bridgewater, NJ) unless otherwise noted.  Events are open to ages infant to 4th grade, and you do not need to be a member to attend events.  For more information about any of these events, please contact bumcchildrenfamilies@gmail.com

On Going Activities:

Worship Sermon Time Activity – Every Sunday during the 10:30 AM Service

Don’t forget to sign up to assist with the kids sermon time activity, which takes place during the 10:30 worship service each week. Our sermon time activities take place during the sermon at the 10:30 AM service.  During this time, children are invited to the narthex for a mini-lesson which typically focuses on one of the scripture readings for the week.  The children have a great time learning about the Bible in this way, and participating in an activity or creating a craft that corresponds to the theme that they can bring home.
