At times of trial we turn to the Lord for guidance.  Often we need His disciples to aid us in our journey.  Through our team of Stephen Ministers, Pastors, Support Groups and Prayers, we are able to help those who are hurting.

“Love one another, as I have loved you.” John 13:34

Stephen Ministers

BUMC is a Stephen Ministry congregation.  Stephen Ministry is the one-to-one lay caring ministry that takes place in congregations that use the Stephen Series system.

Stephen Ministry congregations equip and empower lay caregivers—called Stephen Ministers—to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting.

To be connected with a Stephen Minister, please contact  Mary Beth Gruber.

Pastoral Care

Our pastors care deeply about others, especially in times of pain.  We invite you to connect with Rev. Jennifer or Rev. June.

Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Group

The Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group is presented by the Alzheimer’s Association – Greater New Jersey Chapter.  This group meets at BUMC on the first Monday of each month, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm.

For more information, please contact Rev. June Tamburro.

Prayers

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”  – Ephesians 6:18

You are invited to join in on our 30-Minute Morning Prayer Group, Thursdays at 10 a.m.

Gather through Zoom, and be comforted by the scriptures of the Book of Psalm and lift up prayers together.

Please contact Rev. Jennifer to receive the Zoom link.
